Country of origin: Made in Italy The Viro rectangle padlock combines a classic look with high security and resistance. Two offset latches make it reliable and prevent the shackle from being pulled. This limited edition adds a built-in key hole cover. It shields the keyway from dust, rain and debris, so the lock stays clean and works smoothly for longer.

Limited edition feature: Built-in key hole cover

• Protects the keyway: the cover seals the key hole when the padlock is not in use. This keeps out dust, dirt, grit, rain and moisture, which are the usual causes of a sticky or seized lock.

• Better for outdoor and humid use: gates, sheds, storerooms, bicycle racks, toolboxes and meter cabinets are exposed to weather and Singapore’s humidity. The cover helps keep the cylinder in good working order.

• Longer service life: a clean keyway means less wear on the pins and less need for lubrication or cleaning.

• Added tamper resistance: a covered key hole is harder to access, which discourages casual probing and the insertion of foreign objects.

• Built in, so nothing to lose: unlike a separate cap or sleeve, the cover is part of the padlock and can’t be misplaced.

• Clean, finished look: the cover keeps the satin brass face uncluttered and gives the padlock a distinctive, premium appearance.
